Miss Regatta 2006 on the way |05 August 2006

This year’s event will see the participation of ten ladies from Mahe, Praslin and La Digue
under the theme “Joie de vivre”, aimed at bringing together a celebration of youth, fashion, design, music and beauty.

Anges Camille, Aline Shyra Dubel , Diane Maria Auguste, Diane Naila Rose,  Fleurange Louis, Giselle Moumou, Kaline Jeannevol, Tessa Rita Moustache, Tracy Marthe Dick
and Marie-Michel Cupidon will parade in their swimwear, casual wear and evening wear.

The two-hour show will kick off at 6.30 p.m. with a choreography backed by a moutya especially composed for Miss Regatta by the local Band Fek Arive.

Local artistes, such as Telsy, Blaze, Richard, Leo, Sushine, Dezil, and Joseph Sinon will also be present that evening to entertain the audience.

The event is being organised by the Seychelles Round Table N°2 in collaboration with Telly’s modelling Agency, Impact Logistics, Creole Travel Services and Kenwyn House.

This activity will also assist in promoting the Seychelles Round Table Association in its various charitable activities organised in Seychelles.

The pageant will play an important part in the young models' social education, international and national awareness of Round Table activities, as well as enhancing the understanding of community services.
