U.S. envoy says Seychelles moving in right direction. |26 October 2004

He said this after paying a courtesy call on President Michel during what was his fourth visit to Seychelles this year.

Ambassador Price said that during the meeting, President Michel updated him on the local economy and some of the programmes the country was putting in place and he felt that Seychelles was moving in the right direction.

The visit of Mr Price, who left Seychelles Monday October 25, coincided with the presence in Port Victoria recently of two United States naval vessels USS Hopper and USS Seattle.

The two vessels called in Port Victoria after serving in the Middle East.
