FOOTBALL: Chetty appointed on FIFA club world cup committee |31 August 2013

Seychelles Football Federation chairman Elvis Chetty has been appointed on the FIFA organising committee for the FIFA club world cup committee.

Sports Nation learned of this excellent news from the football office and thus contacted chairman Chetty to seek his comments on this distinguished position.

“I feel honoured and privileged and obviously I am looking forward to this new experience and whatever I pick up, I will see if it is relevant and I will then use if for the benefit of the SFF,” chairman Chetty revealed to Sports Nation.

Mr Chetty informed us that he was also appointed to another prestigious post as vice-chairman of the disciplinary committee of Confederation of African Football (CAF).

Surely this is a proud moment for our football to be recognised at such high level and especially chairman Chetty who was only elected president of the SFF this year and already he is receiving recognition especially with his legal knowledge and background.
