Au Ced community join forces to clean their district |13 March 2025

In a heartwarming display of unity and environmental stewardship, the residents of Au Ced, Baie Lazare, teamed up to tackle roadside litter in their picturesque district.

Led by 2 eco-leaders, this initiative brought together some enthusiastic pupils from Baie Lazare primary school.  Other participants included local residents and parents, as well as the district’s member of the National Assembly François Adelaide and administrator Fatima Marie.

Their collective efforts culminated in a significant achievement: a pick-up truck brimming with garbage removed from the area’s roadsides.

The community’s commitment sends a powerful message about preserving the natural beauty of Au Ced. Looking ahead, there’s hope that everyone will embrace proper waste disposal practices, ensuring such littering becomes a thing of the past.
