SLTA outlines 2025 projects

Mr Herath has outlined SLTA’s ongoing and new projects for this year

The Seychelles Land Transport Agency has given a general overview of all its ongoing and new projects for this year which will be funded under its R292.7 million budget.
The agency's chief executive, Parinda Herath, gave details of these projects to the media yesterday during a press conference at the agency’s headquarters.

Mr Herath said from this overall budget, a total of R127.1m has been allocated for capital expenditure projects and R46.4m for asphalting work.

He added that a sum of R21.9m has been budgeted for road maintenance projects, which are minor projects to repair damage to road infrastructure.
The Seychelles Land Transport Agency's (SLTA) head said all these projects are on Mahé, Praslin and La Digue.
