A spirit of warmth, generosity, and cultural pride filled the Anse Boileau Home for the Elderly last Saturday, as residents welcomed a heartfelt visit from members of the Nigerian community in Seychelles. The initiative, led by Simon Pusam, chairperson of the Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation Seychelles, transformed an ordinary day into a meaningful celebration of unity, compassion, and shared humanity.
Driven by a renewed vision, Mr Pusam explained that the visit was part of a broader effort to show love and foster stronger ties within the local community. He described this as a “new mandate” aimed at creating a good image for Nigerians living abroad. Central to this mission is a commitment to working hard, building positive relationships, and acting as good ambassadors wherever they reside.
