Smooth and efficient process

Compared to the general elections of September 25 to 27, the presidential runoff from October 9 to 11 was generally described by both voters and electoral officers as smooth, fast and efficient.

All 23 polling stations on Mahé opened their doors at the scheduled time of 7am and most of those that Seychelles NATION visited saw a slow flow of voters in the early hours, with the process picking up as the day progressed.
