Health ministry clarifies quarantine arrangements for GOP holders from Asian countries |20 July 2021

With effect from July 17, 2021, gainful occupation permit holders from Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Pakistan may travel to and enter Seychelles by chartered flights as detailed in the Health Entry and Stay Conditions for Travelers dated July 16, 2021.

The following clarifies conditions for quarantine.

- Arrangements for quarantine facilities must be made with the Public Health Authority through the email address: pha@health.gov.sc prior to travel confirmation.

- Existing approvals for facilities need to be reviewed and new permissions will be granted.

- Quarantine facilities must provide for no more than two persons per room with attached amenities. No mixing of occupants from different rooms.

- The employer must ensure that the PCR tests done prior to departure from country of origin are from government certified laboratories.

Any entity found breaching these conditions will be penalised.
