“Today, Seychelles joins the global community in commemorating World Blood Donor Day – a special occasion to honour the selfless generosity of blood donors and reaffirm our collective commitment to ensuring safe and equitable access to blood and blood products for all who need them.

“This year’s theme, ‘One Drop of Humanity. Give Blood. Save Lives.’, conveys a simple yet profound truth: every blood donation is an act of compassion, solidarity, and humanity. It is a gift that cannot be manufactured, only given freely by one person to help another.
