Four more deaths related to Covid-19 reported |17 July 2021

Four more people have died this week with complications related to Covid-19 infection, bringing the total number of deaths so far to 81.

The latest casualties; three women and a man were aged between 69 and 80 years old and one of them is from Praslin.

Meanwhile, the Public Health Authority continues to monitor the evolution of the pandemic both in Seychelles and globally. While the downward trend continues gradually, Seychelles has not reached the pre-surge level of community transmission.

The current public health and social measures will continue to remain in force.
