Covid-19 - Seychelles issues new travel measures |21 April 2021

In view of the worsening Covid-19 outbreaks in a number of countries, yesterday, Tuesday April 20, 2021, the Public Health Commissioner issued the following measures, under the Infectious Disease (Restriction on entry to, exit from and return to Seychelles) (No 3) Order, 2020.

These measures take effect immediately:

1. Travellers from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh are not permitted to travel to and enter Seychelles without proof of Covid-19 vaccination, which should be presented on application for travel authorisation. Vaccination certificates are subject to verification and approval of the Public Health Authority.

2. Travellers from Brazil are not permitted to travel to or enter Seychelles.

3. These measures do not apply to Seychelles citizens and permanent residents, who are permitted to travel and enter and must quarantine on arrival in accordance with Public Health Authority instructions.
