Covid-19 update |03 March 2021
161 cases recorded in five days
One hundred and sixty-one (161) new cases of Covid-19 were recorded since the last update bringing the total number of cases recorded in Seychelles to 2,849.
They are from samples collected on February 25, 26, 27 and 28 as well as on March 1.
The highest number of cases reported was on February 26 with 54 cases followed by 42 cases on February 27 and 11 on February 28.
Everyone is advised to continue practice the different measures to stop the spread of Covid-19. Keep interactions to immediate households (the persons you live with) only and to not gather in crowds. Other measures to follow:
• Wear a mask in public places and where physical distancing cannot be maintained
• Practise hand hygiene regularly
• Avoid gatherings and crowds
• Avoid sharing objects
• Practise physical distancing of more than 1 metre.
