Two new positive Covid-19 cases detected |28 November 2020
Detection of two new positive Covid-19 cases on Thursday night has brought the total number of cases to 173.
Of the two latest reported cases, one is a 33-year-old male gainful occupation permit (GOP) holder who tested positive while in quarantine at the Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay facility, after his travels. The second is a 29-year-old foreigner who arrived in Seychelles from Zimbabwe on November 21 and did his PCR test before his return on November 26. Both patients are asymptomatic.

As from yesterday, the Covid-19 testing venue based at Maison Football (Roche Caïman sports complex) has been relocated to the Music Stadium at English River. Appointments for PCR testing should be booked by calling telephone numbers 2829340 and 4388410 or e-mail covid19test@health.gov.sc
As from Monday November 30, 2020, quarantine facilities are moving from the Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay hotel and relocating to Avani Hotel.
The Public Health Authority urges members of the public to respect and practice preventive measures to break the chain of transmission early.
