President declares October 24, 2020 a public holiday |22 September 2020

President Danny Faure has declared that October 24, 2020 shall be observed as a public holiday.

This is in accordance of section 5 of the Public Holidays Act.

October 24, 2020 is the main polling day for the Seychelles’ Presidential and National Assembly elections to be held from October 22-24, 2020.
