The National Museum of History will at the end of November 2020 close the exhibition which opened in August 2019 to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the birth of Pierre Poivre (1719-1786) in order to set up an exhibition based on Slavery in Seychelles.

Come and discover the importance that Pierre Poivre has in the history of our country. He gave us cinnamon and other spices when he created the Jardin du Roi at Anse Royale and learn more how cinnamon brought immense revenue to our economy.
