More competitions as athletes gear up for IOIG
With the 10th Indian Ocean Island Games quickly closing in, our local athletes are fully engaged in their training, along with additional competitions organised by the Seychelles Athletics Federation to assess their level prior to the Games.
Last weekend, the Seychelles Athletics Federation (SAF) hosted its National Championships at Stad Popiler, gathering athletes from different clubs, including those who made the selection for the Indian Ocean Island Games (IOIG).
The two-day competition was also the chance for the coaches to identify mistakes which need to be adjusted and work on during the last phase of training prior to the Games.
