Vision 2020 campaign reaches out to the community |08 February 2020

The ongoing Vision 2020 campaign being undertaken by Vision Care is now going to the districts on Saturdays, says Hermann Holst, owner of Vision Care Seychelles.

“We do discover a lot of different eye pathology during these outreaches!” notes Mr Holst.

The accompanying photo shows this patient is diabetic and had not seen an eye specialist for more than four years. The patient was not aware of the problem. If this condition, known as Advanced Diabetic Retinopathy, is not taken care of, there is a real risk of losing a large percentage of the eye vision.

Do not wait until it is too late as Vision Care offers free fully comprehensive eye examinations during the whole year.
