Club Med officially inaugurated its first resort in South Africa on September 15, 2026, unveiling a new all-inclusive concept pairing an Indian Ocean beach holiday with a Big Five safari. The opening marks a milestone in Club Med's 76-year history of developing pioneering destinations, extending a legacy that spans the Caribbean, Mexico, the Mediterranean, the Alps and Asia. It also reinforces the group’s five-decade presence on the African continent, where it already operates resorts in Seychelles, Senegal, Morocco, Tunisia and Mauritius.
