Global awards highlight transport sector excellence

A series of recent regional and international awards has recognised the performance and ongoing efforts of several state-owned enterprises under the Ministry of Transport, Ports & Civil Aviation, highlighting the strength of Seychelles’ transport sector.

The ministry has acknowledged the contribution of employees across these organisations, whose efforts have supported the sector’s continued development and enhanced its international standing.

Air Seychelles was named Indian Ocean’s Leading Airline 2026 and Indian Ocean’s Leading Cabin Crew 2026 at the World Travel Awards. The dual recognition reflects the national carrier’s service standards, operational reliability and the professionalism of its cabin crew, further strengthening Seychelles’ profile in regional and international aviation.
