Seychelles advances partnerships and cooperation on margins of UNGA 81

Minister for Foreign Affairs & the Diaspora, Barry Faure, held a series of high-level bilateral meetings on the margins of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, advancing Seychelles’ efforts to strengthen international partnerships and expand cooperation across a range of sectors, including trade, tourism, digitalisation, education, food security and climate resilience.

The discussions, held with counterparts from Rwanda, Angola and Singapore, as well as the leadership of the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), focused on translating existing agreements into tangible outcomes while exploring new opportunities for collaboration.
