CJ explores legal tech collaboration in Singapore

The Chief Justice of Seychelles, Rony Govinden, participated in TechLaw Fest 2026 in Singapore, held at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre under the theme ‘From Foundation to Frontier: The Role of Law Amidst Change’. The event brought together legal professionals, policymakers, technologists and academics to explore how law and justice systems can respond to rapid technological and societal change.

The Chief Justice was accompanied by the Judiciary’s director for Legal Affairs, with their participation providing an opportunity for the Seychelles Judiciary to learn more about judicial innovation and technology, particularly as Seychelles continues to modernise its justice system and incorporate technology into its processes and services.
