Samuel Lesperance is living proof that a second chance can lead to a new beginning, a life of purpose and the chance to inspire others

One of the things I love most about my job is going out into the community, meeting people, hearing their stories, and learning from their experiences – stories that can inspire others.

I met Samuel Lesperance at a forum in Baie Ste Anne on Tuesday, where he shared his testimony. Listening to him speak about his journey, the choices he made, the challenges he faced, and the changes that transformed his life, I felt his story deserved to reach more people than the small group gathered at the community centre.

I reached out to him, hoping that by sharing his story, someone else struggling might believe that change is possible – and that it is never too late to start again.
