Seychelles moves to unlock marine biotechnology investment potential
Seychelles is taking another step toward diversifying its blue economy with the National Validation Workshop for the Marine Biotechnology Investment Plan, held on August 18-19, 2026 at the Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Resort & Casino.
Co-organised by the Seychelles Blue Economy Department and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (Uneca), the two-day workshop is themed ‘Collaborating for a Sustainable Blue Future: Unlocking the Potential of Marine Biotechnology in Seychelles’.
