Thanksgiving mass celebrates maritime workers

Maritime workers and their invaluable contribution to Seychelles’ economy and communities were recognised during a special thanksgiving celebration held yesterday at the St Antoine church in Anse Etoile.

Organised by the Ministry of Local Government & Inner Islands, the event brought together government representatives, members of the fishing and maritime sectors, and residents of Anse Etoile.

The celebration honoured the men and women whose dedication sustains the country’s maritime industry, acknowledging their essential role in supporting livelihoods, food security, and economic development.
