Seychelles strengthens capacity to manage trade in hazardous chemicals
Seychelles has taken another important step towards protecting the health of it’s population and it’s environment, through a two-day training workshop aimed at strengthening the country's capacity to identify and manage trade in hazardous chemicals.
Organised by the Ministry of Environment, Climate, Energy and Natural Resources, in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), this two-day training workshop forms part of the Global Environment Facility (GEF)-funded ISLANDS Project, a regional initiative being implemented in Comoros, Maldives, Mauritius, and Seychelles.
