Biosecurity workshop highlights island vulnerability

The Seychelles Islands Foundation (SIF) successfully hosted a half-day biosecurity workshop at the Seychelles Coast Guard Base, Ile Perseverance, in observance of the International Day for Biological Diversity under the global theme ‘Acting Locally for Global Impact’.

Observed annually on May 22, the International Day for Biological Diversity raises awareness of biodiversity issues worldwide. This year’s theme emphasised the power of community-driven initiatives in achieving global conservation goals.
