Safe roads ahead

As part of ongoing efforts to prioritise road safety among young people, the Department of Transport and the Seychelles National Youth Council renewed their memorandum of understanding during a signing ceremony followed by a youth workshop themed ‘Empowering Youth for Safer Roads’.

The event took place on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at The Guy Morel Institute, with principal secretary for Land Transport Patrick Andre and Seychelles National Youth Council (SNYC) chief executive Michel Pierre signing the memorandum of understanding (MoU).
