As global conversations around digital innovation and inclusion gain momentum, Seychelles is also seeing growing interest in creating opportunities for women in technology. Following her participation at the Women in Tech® Global Summit 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa, Seychelles NATION spoke with Tafita Chang Pen Tive, who works in the service technology department at Absa Bank Seychelles.
Seychelles NATION: Could you tell us about your role at the Women in Tech® Global Summit 2026 and how you became part of the Seychelles delegation?
Ms Chang Pen Tive: I attended the summit as a delegate representing both Absa African Region (ARO) and Absa Seychelles. This year was particularly historic, as it marked the first time the global summit was hosted on African soil. I was proud to contribute to such an impactful event, joining a worldwide network of professionals committed to advancing women in technology.
