Honouring unsung heroes of youth work

The Seychelles National Youth Council (SNYC) hosted a dialogue session on Friday morning titled ‘Let’s Talk Youth Work’ in celebration of ‘Thank a Youth Worker Day’. The event took place at the SNYC training room.
The session focused on key themes:
- Evaluating youth work in Seychelles
- Impact and effectiveness of youth programmes
- Youth participation and leadership
- Professionalisation of youth work
- Visioning the future
SNYC chief executive Michel Pierre highlighted that youth workers play a vital role in communities but often lack opportunities to share their experiences and challenges.
