Founding Speaker’s role in establishing SADC Parliamentary Forum hailed
Namibia’s President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has hailed the late Mosé Penaani Tjitendero as a visionary nation builder whose leadership helped shape both Namibia’s parliamentary democracy and regional parliamentary cooperation, including the establishment of the SADC Parliamentary Forum.
Speaking at the commemoration of the 20th anniversary of Dr Tjitendero’s passing at the Heroes’ Acre on Sunday, the President said Namibia was honouring “a towering figure whose contributions have left an indelible mark on our nation’s history”.
