MAPS workshop marks milestone in public procurement reform

As part of efforts to enhance the efficiency of the national public procurement system, the Procurement Oversight Unit, with support from the World Bank and African Development Bank (AfDB), hosted its first stakeholder workshop using the internationally recognised Methodology for Assessing Procurement Systems.
The workshop, held at Coral Strand Hotel, Beau Vallon, was attended by principal secretary of the Ministry of Finance, Astride Tamatave, and Miarana Razaf from the World Bank. Stakeholders included representatives from the Seychelles Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), as well as internal and external audit institutions.
