Service excellence winners embark on Maldives training

Four of Seychelles’ tourism professionals are set to embark on a unique international internship experience in the Maldives, following their recognition at the 2025 Lospitalite Lafyerte Sesel Service Excellence Awards.
Josianne Toussaint, a Restaurant Hostess at Club Liberté Casino and 5 Spices Restaurant, will be placed at Kuramathi Resort. Kareen Rita Bristol, who serves as Sales and Reservation Supervisor at Oasis Hotel Restaurant and Spa, will undertake her internship at Milaidhoo Resort. Franco Cafrine, Operations Manager at Treasure Villa, will gain experience at Velassaru Resort, while Nicolas Louys, Deputy General Manager at North Island, will be assigned to Baros Resort.
They were presented with their tickets and documents by the Minister for Tourism & Culture, Amanda Bernstein, and principal secretary for Tourism Sherin Francis, in a short ceremony held yesterday afternoon at the Botanical House, Mont Fleuri.
