Central Bank of Seychelles presents 2025 report to Assembly

The audience

Members of the National Assembly attended a session on Wednesday led by the Central Bank of Seychelles, during which detailed presentations were delivered on its 2025 report.

Central Bank of Seychelles (CBS) governor Caroline Abel, first deputy governor Brian Commettant and second deputy governor Mike Tirant were welcomed by the deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Hon. Egbert Aglae.

Present were the leader of government business, Hon. Sylvanne Lemiel; the leader of the opposition, Hon. Bernard Georges; other members, and staff of the Assembly.

In her remarks, Ms Abel said it was a great privilege for CBS to present its report. The presentation was divided into three parts, the first by Mr Commettant who spoke mainly on the economy, the second by Ms Abel on the management of the country’s foreign reserves, and the third by Mr Tirant on the CBS financial report.

Mr Commettant covered the section of the report relating to economic performance for 2025, beginning with an overview of external performance.
