Maxwell Julie appointed chief executive of the 2020 Development Company Limited

The Office of the President has announced the appointment of Maxwell Julie as the chief executive of the 2020 Development Company Limited.

Mr Julie is an Economist by profession with over 30 years’ experience as a public servant whereby he has occupied several key positions such as managing director of the Seychelles Industrial Development Corporation (SIDEC) and deputy chief executive of the Seychelles Public Transport Corporation (SPTC).

Mr Julie has vast knowledge in entrepreneurship development and management of industrial estate. During his time as managing director of SIDEC, he was instrumental in the development, management and monitoring of the Providence Industrial Estate.

Mr Julie possesses a Master’s Degree in Macro-Economics from Bratislava Economic University in Slovak Republic. Mr Julie’s appointment takes effect from April 1, 2026.
