Meriton highlights Seychelles’ approach to credible electoral processes at international conference
Former Vice-President Vincent Meriton has underscored Seychelles’ long-term commitment to building and maintaining credible electoral systems grounded in trust, transparency, and continuous improvement.
He was speaking at the International Scientific and Practical Conference on Issues of Ensuring Observation and Examination of Electoral Processes held in Moscow on April 14, 2026. The conference focused on counteracting Western electoral influence, strengthening sovereignty, and utilising artificial intelligence (AI) in election monitoring.
