SRC, UniSey sign MoU to boost tax education and research

The Seychelles Revenue Commission and the University of Seychelles have signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen collaboration between the two institutions in the areas of education, research, and capacity building in taxation and public finance.

The agreement, signed by the commissioner general of the Seychelles Revenue Commission (SRC), Varsha Singh who later during the day resigned from her post, was witnessed by the commission’s director general for support services, Christelle Betsy whilst the vice-chancellor of the University of Seychelles, Joëlle Perreau followed suit in the presence of the University Registrar, Betty-Mai Sofa. The event took place in a short ceremony held yesterday morning at SRC’s head office in Maison Collet.
