Seychellois dancers sign in Moscow

Professional local dancers Ruth Louis and Denis Rose met with President Patrick Herminie at State House yesterday morning, after securing back-to-back first prize in the master category at the World Artistic Dance Grand Prix in Moscow.

The two accomplished dancers, who are also instructors, brought international acclaim to Seychelles after winning the prestigious master first prize for two consecutive years at the competition organised by the World Artistic Dance Federation (WADF) in Russia.

Youth and Sports Minister Kalsey Belle was also present at yesterday’s meeting at State House.

Speaking to the media, Mrs Louis said during the discussions with the Head of State, they reflected on their achievements and underscored the growing strength of Seychelles' dance sector.
