Alain St. Ange appointed as Ambassador at Large for Seychelles

The National Assembly has approved the appointment of Alain St. Ange as Ambassador at Large for Seychelles, with 17 votes in favour, 14 against and one abstention.

It was the leader of government business, Hon. Sylvanne Lemiel who tabled the motion for the appointment of Alain St Ange as Ambassador at Large of the Republic of Seychelles which was seconded by Hon. Churchill Gill, both from the United Seychelles caucus.

In his address, Mr St Ange said this invitation to serve his country in a new role is both a privilege and a renewed chance to contribute to the nation that has shaped his life and career.
