President Herminie extends Eid al-Fitr greetings, honouring Unity and Faith |21 March 2026
On the blessed occasion of Eid al-Fitr, President Patrick Herminie extends his warmest greetings and best wishes to the Muslim community in Seychelles and internationally as they mark the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
The President notes that this sacred occasion is a time of joy and gratitude, as well as reflection on the enduring values of compassion, discipline, generosity, and faith that define Ramadan.
He highlights that Eid al-Fitr offers an important opportunity to reaffirm the principles that unite communities and
strengthen the nation.
He expresses his hope that this special time will bring peace, unity, and renewed hope to Seychelles and the world, and encourages all to continue fostering harmony, mutual respect, and a shared sense of purpose.
President Herminie also commends the Muslim community for its devotion, resilience, and spiritual commitment throughout the month of Ramadan, and recognises its valuable contribution to the social fabric, cultural diversity, and continued development of Seychelles.
As families and communities come together in celebration, the President conveys his sincere wishes for a joyful and peaceful Eid to all those observing the occasion.
