Seychelles observes International Day of Forests

Activities marking this year’s International Day of Forests began yesterday morning with an official launching ceremony at Vallée des Fruits in La Misère.

The event was organised by the Ministry of Environment, Climate, Energy and Natural Resources under the theme ‘Forest and Economics’, highlighting the vital role forests play in supporting livelihoods, sustaining biodiversity, and contributing to both national and global economies.
