Mission Ruins of Venn’s Town passes Unesco technical completeness check

Seychelles has reached a major milestone in its bid for international recognition of the Mission Ruins of Venn’s Town. The country’s nomination dossier has successfully passed the Technical Completeness Check by the Unesco World Heritage Centre, marking a crucial step toward inscription on the World Heritage List.
The announcement was made yesterday morning by Minister for Tourism and Culture, Amanda Bernstein, during a press conference at Botanical House, Mont Fleuri. She described the development as a significant achievement in Seychelles’ ongoing efforts to preserve and promote its cultural heritage globally.
