The Seychelles Petroleum Company Limited has reassured the public that the supply of liquefied petroleum gas in Seychelles remains stable, while confirming that a temporary measure has been introduced to ensure fair and orderly access to additional household liquefied petroleum gas cylinders across the country.

In recent days, the Seychelles Petroleum Company (Seypec) has observed an unusually high level of purchases of additional household liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders, likely linked to heightened concerns over ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and their perceived impact on global energy supply chains.
