President Herminie departs for Mauritius State visit

The President of the Republic of Seychelles, Dr Patrick Herminie, leaves Seychelles today for an official State visit to the Republic of Mauritius, taking place from March 11 to 14, 2026.

During the mission, President Herminie will attend the celebrations marking the 58th anniversary of Mauritius’ independence from the British Crown in 1968. He will participate as Guest of Honour at the invitation of the Prime Minister of Mauritius, H.E. Navin Ramgoolam.
