Josy Ita Michaud-Payet appointed Mayor of Victoria

The Office of the President has announced the appointment of Josy Ita Michaud-Payet as the Mayor of Victoria, effective March 1, 2026.

Mrs Michaud-Payet brings to the position a distinguished career spanning over four decades in communications, public relations, and community engagement. She has served in senior roles with the Seychelles Broadcasting Corporation, Air Seychelles, the Ministry of Health, and the Seychelles Petroleum Company, where she played a pivotal role in strengthening institutional communications, building stakeholder relationships, and promoting national initiatives.
