Absa Bank Seychelles supports the Aldabra giant tortoise census on Curieuse
Staff of the Absa Bank Seychelles traded their button‑downs for t‑shirts on Saturday February 21, 2026, as they embarked on a new adventure to Curieuse Island.
In partnership with the Seychelles Parks and Gardens Authority (SPGA), 30 members of the Absa team supported the annual Aldabra giant tortoise census, contributing to efforts to record the rewilded population’s health and assess the population distribution of one of Seychelles’ most recognisable species, listed as vulnerable on the IUCN Red List.
