Police academy boosts capacity with training programme

The Seychelles Police Academy has awarded 16 certificates to officers from various units and ranks, marking the successful completion of its professional development ‘Training of Trainers’ programme.

The certificates were presented by Assistant Superintendent Hendricka Maria, Commander of the Seychelles Police Academy (SPA), during a ceremony held at the academy on Friday afternoon. The five-day programme, conducted from February 9 to 13, focused on transitioning officers from “doers” to “educators”.
