The Minister for Education and Human Resource Development, David Pierre, has emphasised the need for “urgency, realism, and renewed commitment” towards the country’s education system and announced new education reforms that will be implemented promptly.
He made the statements during a press conference held yesterday at the Ministry of Education headquarters, Mont Fleuri. This follows the release of the October/November 2025 IGCSE and A-level examination results, which reveal consistently strong pass rates but a number of persistent and emerging challenges that require continued attention.
