• Orderly distribution at Praslin secondary school
After weeks of anticipation, former Secondary Five students across Seychelles received their post-secondary placement slips yesterday.
The exercise brought an end to the waiting period as students learned their respective placements for the next stage of their education. At Praslin secondary school, Seychelles NATION observed a large group of students gathered in the morning, many waiting nervously for their slips.
Saïd Lesperance, who was named overall best student during the Secondary Five graduation in December last year, was among those present. He will be pursuing his studies at the School of Advanced Level Studies (Sals). “I feel happy that I have finally received my results and I thank God for keeping me motivated all along. When you work hard, you reap good results, and we all know nothing comes easily. That is why I am satisfied with my results,” he shared, noting that he has yet to choose his subjects.
