Farewell Smash Kid

Families, friends, fellow artists, and fans gathered at St Joseph Church in Anse Royale yesterday afternoon to bid a heartfelt farewell to beloved singer, songwriter, chef, and father Terance Trevor Bijoux – affectionately known as Smash Kid – during a touching memorial service.

The nearly two-hour service honoured the life of the 38-year-old, who passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026, after an illness.

Father David Alcindor led the ceremony, reflecting on the sudden loss and encouraging those present to find comfort in gratitude for the time shared with Terance, whose words, music, actions, and vibrant spirit brought joy to many.
