Victoria’s Clock Tower glows red for Lunar New Year

For the second year in a row, Victoria’s iconic Clock Tower was illuminated in radiant red to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year, also known as the Spring Festival.

The lighting ceremony was officiated by Lin Nan, ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Seychelles, alongside acting Mayor of Victoria Lydia Charlie. The event was organised through a collaboration between the Chinese embassy in Seychelles, the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, and the Chinese Association in Seychelles.
